welcome to kin

Making kin. Tending place. Strengthening communities.

Kin is an intergenerational collective of community-makers, including community and youth workers, mental and social health practitioners, mentors, facilitators, artists, social/environmental activists, and other lovers of people and place, who wish to gather, learn and grow together while supporting their communities.

A soon to be CIC founded by Kanada Gorla and Chiz Williams, kin is concerned with the collective and connective dimensions of place, space and relationship in meeting the needs of place-based communities in the UK.

We believe that thriving communities are only possible through skilful and diverse participation.

Our aim is to cultivate authentic connections that enable new and imaginative opportunities and solutions to the challenges our communities face.

“We need each other, and in that lies the seed of our power” - Kanada Gorla
